The Hampton Roads Sisters’ Community has existed long before the Islamic Center at ODU opened its doors in 1993. We are the mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, wives, business women, professionals, and students that help to shape this community. We are a true representation of the American "melting pot". We are sisters from many nations and backgrounds but united by our Islam. We have come together in times of need and happiness to support our sisters in Islam for the sake of Allah, the Almighty |
| | MSA at ODU The Muslim Student Association is an association of Muslim individuals at ODU who aim to provide a common platform for presenting Islam, supporting Muslim communities, developing educational, social, and outreach programs for the community.  The MSA was formed in 1989. The MSA houses a large number of foreign and local students at ODU. We work to help build a better understanding of Islam and Muslims on campus and at the same time participate with others to build respect and accord between different groups at ODU.
